Dr. Simpson has served on the Conference Council on Finance and Administration and District Committee on Ministry, for many years, and considers himself an orthodox theologian who believes the Church is at its best around the divine table, celebrating the Eucharist. My vision abides in the apostolic community’s interpretation of the liturgy of the Church. He continues to be an active brother of the Order of Saint Luke and disciplines his life in the Benedictine life of prayer.

Robert’s family includes his wife Christy who teaches high school math and his son Alex, who is in college, studying engineering. He is an avid runner, plays golf and reads extensively.

He looks forward to a wonderful time in Red Oak.
